August

So the month is almost over & I can hardly believe it! Savannah had her 4th birthday on the 10th. She was excited about her pink chocolate cake & having a special family dinner. But I think the thing she was most excited about was the birthday money two of her grandma's sent her. She picked out a Barbie, a Disney Fairy doll & the Barbie 12 Dancing Princess' movie with her money ... it was fun watching her try so hard to pick everything out.
Later that week, Hunter also got to have his first real try at a golf range! He went on a boy's only night with Grandpa Steve, Uncle Cory & Ryan. It's all he asks about ... when can they go again?!? **Can you see the two missing bottom teeth? So stinkin' cute!**Last week we had a fun afternoon at a local indoor bounce house with a bunch of friends. So cool! And then to add to the fun & craziness, last Friday was Colton's 2nd birthday. We made him an uber-cool birthday cake & then an equally cool #2 shirt ... and that #2 shirt still hasn't gotten a "proper" pic ... he just can't be bothered with smiling when there are so many new toys to play with! Ha ha ha. Then on Monday was Hunter's first day of first grade. Since he only had a two week vacation for summer, it was an easy transition and he's lovin' it! I really like his teachers this year and am so excited for him to learn more spanish!August has also meant a lot of sick kiddos. I sooooo prefer them all getting sick at once, rather than slowly working it's way thru the WHOLE family. But it seems that the worst of it all is over & Colton got a prescription today for the sinus infection that is lingering from it all. Now onto a fun September ... and hopefully some cooler weather???

That all looks like fun. I can't believe Savannah is 4 and Colton is 2. How fun for Hunter to go golfing...no wonder he wants to go again.

Looks like you've had quite a week. My kids started school last week too. Elsa started 1st grade and loves it. Calvin is in 3rd and thinks he's so big. He loves it! Hunter looks like he loves school too. Good luck in the 1st grade Hunter! Have a good day!
