We have been busy and it's been almost a year since our last post ... rather than boring anyone with the last umpteen months since the last post ... here's a quick shot of our week in review. :)
Lizzie crashed on the rug the other day ... so stinkin' cute and my budding photographer Hunter was quick to catch the photo for me. :)
We are hard at work on a garden for our backyard ... so many fun things planned and seeds are budding up (our last freeze date is usually June 6th, so we have a few weeks left before planting). We place all the seeds outside each morning and usually bring them in each night. This isn't everything (that day was particularly cold, so a lot of the things weren't placed outside). The next photo is Lizzie taking care of her own food needs (she ripped a hole in the orange & was pulling out the bits ... lol) ... I was busily canning over 40 jars of different berry jam's that day. And the final photo was on Monday, Ryan surprised us all by getting off work at 2:00 and we took the kids to the a state park for roasted marshmallows & hot dogs for dinner. It was an awesome break from the constant work of cleaning/school and life.

It's amazing how much kids change after not seeing them for almost a year. LOL!
Love your garden so far. What a great idea to plant them that way so you can bring them in at night. Looks like you've got lots of good help. Lizzie is a crack up. Love the orange!
