We spent thirty minutes outside ... the weather had changed in less than an hour from perfectly warm to windy and cold. Oh well, the kids were pretty thrilled to get that time with Daddy ... and that angel food cake was FABULOUS. :)

Daddy's Almost Home
For the past few weeks Ryan has been MIA. Seriously, I'm not sure what is worse, him gone completely, or only home for a few hours at night & the kids knowing he's in town, but really not seeing him (he has a major paper he's been working on that is due in the mail by tomorrow). So on Saturday I spent the ENTIRE morning making homemade angel food cake, fried chicken and putting together a picnic. We spent thirty minutes outside ... the weather had changed in less than an hour from perfectly warm to windy and cold. Oh well, the kids were pretty thrilled to get that time with Daddy ... and that angel food cake was FABULOUS. :)
